INAP-teaching for pupils with special needs.
Many parents approach INAP wanting their child to receive concept-teaching.
Ragnhild Hope Nyborg through a number of years gave such tuition - something
which has proved to lead to fundamental changes in the pre-requisites for
learning for pupils with different types of learning-disabilities.
As long as the children do not receive conceptual teaching in the public
school, we consider it important to maintain this.
INAPS Research-GROUP.
A group has been established that works with further research on the
Nyborg approach.
Within the work of the research-group we can mention the following
fields:
x Development of competence for teachers and psychologists from pedagogical
theories based on Nyborg's research.
x Initiation and accomplishment of projects connected to 6-year-olds
in school and the introduction of a large reform in public schools in Norway:
Reform 97.
x Systematically conceptual teaching as a method with reading and writing
difficulties.
x Conceptual teaching in order to change learning pre-requisites for
children with learning disabilities for different reasons.
x Basic concepts and conceptual systems in the first training of native
language and maths.
x Conceptual teaching as a part of reality-guidance with schizophrenia.
